Our Program
The LifeSource Food Pantry provides nutritious food to our residents and families in need throughout Morgan County — because no one should have to choose between recovery and a meal.
The LifeSource Food Pantry exists because we believe that caring for the whole person means caring for their most basic needs. Hunger is a barrier to recovery, and no one in our program or our community should face it alone.
Our pantry provides groceries and prepared meals to residents across all five campuses, as well as to families and individuals in the greater Morgan County area who are struggling with food insecurity.
Every meal we serve is an act of love — a tangible reminder that God provides and that this community cares.
How It Works
The food pantry operates through generous donations, local partnerships, and the dedicated work of our residents and volunteers.
All LifeSource residents receive three nutritious meals a day, prepared on-site by fellow residents as part of our life skills and vocational training program.
We regularly distribute food to families and individuals in Morgan County who are facing food insecurity, extending our mission of care beyond our campus walls.
Our pantry relies on the generosity of local churches, businesses, food banks, and individuals who share our belief that no one should go hungry.
From sorting donations to serving meals, there are many ways to get involved with the food pantry and make a direct impact in someone’s life.
A single food donation can feed a resident for a week. A single volunteer shift can serve dozens of families. The impact of generosity multiplies in ways we can’t always measure.
When someone walks through our doors hungry and leaves with a bag of groceries and a word of encouragement, that’s the Gospel in action. That’s what LifeSource is about.
Whether you can donate food, funds, or your time, you are helping to nourish both bodies and souls in Morgan County.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
Matthew 25:35
Your donation of food, funds, or time makes a real difference in the lives of our residents and community members.
